TSURUGI CURVE - Large Teeth Professional
DESCRIPTION
Thanks to their creative team, the SILKY TSURUGI CURVE LARGE TEETH saw delivers perhaps the lightest weight, best balanced "big saw" ever produced, having no handle screws or nuts to keep it together. The comfortable, 2-part rubber grip is held together by an ingenious integration with the full tang blade. And as if the saw alone wasn't enough, the Silky Tsurugi's come in a unique aluminum scabbard that can be attached to the belt or leg depending on the user's preference and has eight rollers protecting the entryway. The Tsurugi is available in either Large or Medium Teeth, and with Straight or Curved blades.
The narrow blade of the Tsurugi allows for access to tight areas without damaging opposing limbs making it ideal for pruning dense trees and branches. The large-tooth option provides an aggressive cut on soft, green wood and larger branches. And the curve blade generally cuts faster than a straight blade by diving into the wood fibers quicker and more effectively.
*Tsurugi - the Japanese meaning of the word Tsurugi translates to "sword" or "blade" and refers to the double-edge sword and evokes imagery of sharpness and precision.

Maintenance:
Although the blade on this tool is made from the highest quality Japanese steel and is coated with a hard chrome plating that is resistant to rust and the effects of resin, it may still rust if not properly maintained.
We recommend you clean the blade with warm soapy water and a light brush to remove tree sap. For anything heavier, you can use our Yanipika Sap and Resin cleaner. After drying your blade thoroughly, to prevent oxidation and maintain a smooth cutting feel, we also recommend you oil the blade. You can use our Camellia Oil for this. Once your maintenance is complete, store your tool away in a moisture free place.
