DESCRIPTION
The OKATSUNE SNIPS are high quality and specially designed for the thinning of plants, harvesting vegetables and fruit, and cutting flowers. The razor-sharp blades on all four snips we offer are forged by a unique method from the finest Japanese steel.
The 4 different snips we offer are best described below, with their size and weight detailed in the Technical Specs section.
O301 (short curve nose):
Specially designed for harvestings vegetables and fruit. The wide single beveled edge curved blades are stiffer than the needle point blades, providing good strength and prevent damage to fruit and flowers, and your hands. These snips are not designed for cutting hard (woody) stems.
O304 (pointed needle nose):
Specially designed for picking flowers and herbs, and deadheading. The double beveled edge pointed blades help facilitate cutting stalks and being pointed ensure you can reach into tight spaces. These snips are not designed for cutting hard (woody) stems.
O306 (long rounded nose):
Specially designed for cutting very soft stems. The round tips prevent damage to fruit and flowers, and your hand, and are also suitable for cutting rope and paper. These snips are not designed for cutting hard (woody) stems.
O307 (short pointed nose):
Specially designed for cutting through hard (woody) stems when harvesting vegetables and fruit, and are great for thinning the likes of grapes, pears and apples.
