NATANOKO 60 - Large Teeth Professional
DESCRIPTION
The SILKY NATANOKO 60 is a perfectly balanced ultra durable straight blade hand saw, available in a 330mm length. The mono construction gives strength and flexibility to the full length of the saw, and the superbly designed rubber hand grip makes these saws ideal for cutting large branches and absorbs vibration while cutting. It has progressive teeth (7 to 8 per 30mm) which provides an easier, smoother start to the cutting stroke followed by a high speed, super productive finish.
The progressive teeth configuration has smaller teeth at the handle end of the saw to assist in starting the cut quicker, and larger teeth at the end of the blade to provide more aggressive cutting as you progress through your cut.
*Natanoko - the Japanese meaning of the words Nata and Noko essentially translates to "hatchet" and "saw". And based on the tradition of Japanese Forestry workers carrying both tools, Silky combined the two words to Natanoko, meaning the saw does both jobs because it is so sharp.

Maintenance:
Although the blade on this tool is made from the highest quality Japanese steel and is coated with a hard chrome plating that is resistant to rust and the effects of resin, it may still rust if not properly maintained.
We recommend you clean the blade with warm soapy water and a light brush to remove tree sap. For anything heavier, you can use our Yanipika Sap and Resin cleaner. After drying your blade thoroughly, to prevent oxidation and maintain a smooth cutting feel, we also recommend you oil the blade. You can use our Camellia Oil for this. Once your maintenance is complete, store your tool away in a moisture free place.
