The SILKY NATA is a unique chopper from Japan. The double edge mono-constructed blade (sharpened on both sides) is made from a special alloy using traditional Japanese sword steel making methods and is designed to keep its edge longer, even with continual use. The non-slip rubber handle is designed to reduce impact on the hand by up to 60% making the Nata ideal for heavy duty applications. The blade is perfectly weighted to swing smoothly to ensure a very efficient cut. Ideal for de-limbing and clearing brush. 

The Nata is ideal for camping, hunting and bush crafting and is great for clearing vines, chopping branches and preparing firewood.

Maintenance:
Although the blade on this tool is made from the highest quality Japanese steel and is coated with a hard electroless nickel plating that is resistant to rust and the effects of resin, it may still rust if not properly maintained. We recommend you clean the blade with warm soapy water and a light brush to remove tree sap. For anything heavier, you can use our Yanipika Sap and Resin cleaner. After drying your blade thoroughly, to prevent oxidation and maintain a smooth cutting feel, we also recommend you oil the blade. You can use our Camellia Oil for this. Once your maintenance is complete, store your tool away in a moisture free place.
