DESCRIPTION

If you are looking for the ultimate tool to attack multiple vegetation types, the SILKY YOKI should be at the top of your list. For avid hunters and hikers, or those who travel off road, the Yoki is versatile enough to reduce vines, limbs and small logs to a more manageable or productive size.

Similar to other bush tools, the YOKI functions much the same way, but can be used with either one or two hands and is much less bulky to pack with your outdoor gear. The mono-constructed (one-piece) special alloy steel blade is super strong and is designed to have no weak points. It will keep its edge for a long period of time even with continuous use. The special Silky patented Genki Rubber hand grip is designed to reduce impact on your hands and absorbs the shock when cutting. And if you ever need to replace the blade, the hand grip peels apart enabling you to remove and replace a new one easily.

The YOKI is a durable and long-lasting tool that comes in a custom-fitted hard plastic carry case.

*Yoki - the Japanese meaning of the word Yoki translates to "good" or "nice" and is usually used as an exclamation of approval or excitement.

MAINTENANCE

Although the blades on these tools are made from the highest quality Japanese steel and are coated with a hard chrome plating (a plating that is applied to the blades surface to enhance durability and longevity and to reduce friction during the cut), they may still be affected by rust and resin if not properly maintained.

We recommend you clean these blades with warm soapy water after each use. For anything heavier (or if you've let residue build up over time), our Yanipika Sap and Resin cleaner should return your blade to good working order.

After drying your blade thoroughly, we also recommend applying our special purpose Mineral and Camellia Oil for added protection and then store your tool away in a moisture free place.
