The SILKY POCKETBOY MEDIUM TEETH saw is a compact lightweight folding saw with an extraordinary cutting capacity that will take up very little space in your pocket or backpack. Well known as the "Little Giant" by gardeners, hikers and campers, this slick saw features rust-resistant, hard chrome-plated, taper-ground blades with an impulse-hardened non-set tooth design for greater cutting efficiency. The precision ground, razor sharp teeth provide fast, clean and smooth cutting, and the blades locks securely into one of two open positions, in line with the handle and flush cutting. The blade resists the effects of tree resin and easily wipes clean. The rubber handle provides a sure, comfortable grip in the most difficult of conditions. An ideal saw for your glove box or to carry on hikes.

The Pocketboy Medium Teeth folding saws come in a convenient hard plastic case that makes it easy and safe to transport and protect. The medium-tooth option is a versatile saw suitable for general pruning and provides a cleaner finish compared to large teeth.

Although the blades on these saws are made from the highest quality Japanese steel and are coated with a hard chrome plating (a plating that is applied to the blades surface to enhance durability and longevity and to reduce friction during the cut), they may still be affected by rust and resin if not properly maintained.

We recommend you clean these blades with warm soapy water and a light brush to remove tree sap and small wood chips after each use. For anything heavier (or if you've let residue build up over time), our Yanipika Sap and Resin cleaner should return your blade to good working order.

After drying your blade thoroughly, we also recommend applying our special purpose Mineral and Camellia Oil for added protection and then store your tool away in a moisture free place.
