DESCRIPTION

The SILKY BIGBOY 2000 EXTRA LARGE TEETH saw is a well-balanced, multi-purpose folding saw, designed for a greater reach. Available in Extra Large, Large, Medium, and Fine teeth, it travels well to wherever big work needs to be done, and the long 360mm blade provides faster cutting and accommodates large limbs and small trunks. This saw is great for forestry and arborist work as well as general pruning, and you'll love the non-slip rubberized cushioned comfort handle for complete control.

The Bigboys are known for their superior quality finish and are ideal for cutting big jobs down to size. The extra-large tooth option is ideal for heavy duty tasks and offers a very aggressive cut with a smooth finish. The curve blade generally cuts faster than a straight blade by diving into the wood fibers quicker and more effectively.

MAINTENANCE

Although the blades on these saws are made from the highest quality Japanese steel and are coated with a hard chrome plating (a plating that is applied to the blades surface to enhance durability and longevity and to reduce friction during the cut), they may still be affected by rust and resin if not properly maintained. 

We recommend you clean these blades with warm soapy water and a light brush to remove tree sap and small wood chips after each use. For anything heavier (or if you've let residue build up over time), our Yanipika Sap and Resin cleaner should return your blade to good working order.

After drying your blade thoroughly, we also recommend applying our special purpose Mineral and Camellia Oil for added protection and then store your tool away in a moisture free place.
