SHARPENING STONE - Dry

The CASTELLARI SHARPENING STONE is a course grit dry stone which can be used for sharpening your garden tools such as secateurs, snips, hedge shears and loppers.

The sharpener is made from Corundum Stone, which is an exceptionally hard and tough material. It is the third hardest mineral, after Diamond and Moissanite (a naturally occurring mineral also known as silicon carbide).

To use the dry stone, hold it along the cutting edge of your blade and grind along the bevel about 5 - 10 times. Turn your blade over and grind 3 - 5 times lightly taking off the burr (any filings that may have appeared due to sharpening the cutting edge).
